European Union's special representative for Georgia, Pierre Morel, is holding talks in Tbilisi in trying to organize the next meeting as part of the Geneva peace process for the Southern Caucasus, a meeting that is tentatively scheduled to take place in Geneva on February 17 or February 18. Two such meetings have been held in Geneva, one in October and one in December, bringing together officials from Georgia, South Ossetia, Abkhazia, Russia, the United States, the European Union, the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, and the United Nations.
Morel said his current meetings in Tbilisi had been fruitful. He was talking to reporters after meeting with Georgian Minister for Reintegration Temur Iakobashvili, who told reporters the "safe and dignified return of refugees to their home" remained Georgia's priority.
